Tickets are priced at $20 for general admission and $30 for preferred seating, which includes the closest seats to the stage. The venue offers free parking, a full bar, and food available through Gatsby’s Pub before and after the show.

Steel River Playhouse Announces

“Damn Yankees!” Teen Production

Steel River Playhouse is inviting teens to take the stage this summer with its upcoming Teen Intensive production of “Damn Yankees!”

Open to participants ages 13 to 18, the program offers young performers the opportunity to be part of a high-energy musical centered around a baseball fan who makes a life-changing deal in pursuit of success.

Auditions will be held on April 30 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and May 2 from 2 to 6 p.m., with callbacks scheduled for May 3.

Those auditioning are asked to prepare a memorized monologue along with 32 bars of a Golden Age musical selection.

Organizers say the summer intensive is designed to give teens hands-on experience in performance, while building confidence and stage skills.
